Volatile Vocabulary

Build your own word chain starting with one word or term that you find in the Energy Underground - like "vapor." Now, with the word "vapor" as your starting point, list any number of words that relate to or have that particular word in them somewhere. List as many as you can before you fall over in complete exhaustion!

Your list might start out like this: vapor/vaporous ---evaporate - Get the idea? Go to it!

Challenge nearby class members to an Energy Underground "word chain duel!" Or suggest that your teacher incorporate your word list into the weekly spelling list - don't groan - it'll be easy to spell them, once you know how to spell the "root" word!
